POLYMNIA CHARALAMPOUS ART EXHIBITION

Polymnia’s works seek to look the viewer straight in the eye, without distance or protective filters. Her aim is to bring the viewer into a direct dialogue with the subject of the work, creating a visual conversation so powerful that it gives rise to an immediate yet profound emotional connection.

The female figures that dominate her work function as mirrors of the female soul. They pose self-indulgently, exaggerated and stylized, with a theatricality that does not apologize for its intensity. They are at once brazen and vulnerable; through their gaze, they assert that femininity is never a weakness, and that vulnerability does not negate strength — on the contrary, it reinforces it.

Through this duality, Polymnia shapes a field of tension and recognition, where the viewer does not merely observe, but participates in an experience of emotional reflection.
